We went back to Hopewell for a weekend in August of 2025. The garden, although weedy, was greener than we were used to seeing on Nantucket, and the garlic chives flowers, just beginning to open, felt more like a symbol of spring and rebirth than a sign of the quickly approaching Autumn.
